Discover DESTINO GAMBIA, a program created by and for young people with the purpose of leaving the world better than we found it, training the leaders of the future and promoting sustainability and altruism.

Destino Gambia applicant students organise a sports event in their school involving all students with the cause and raising funds that they themselves will carry with the Organization in 2020 expedition to invest in the project.
SPORTS TOURNAMENT ORGANIZATION
We design a sports tournament for students tailor-made for each school.
​
Days before the event we go to the school to give an inspiring, motivating and consciousness-raising speech about entrepreneurship, inequalities and the need of believing in oneself. After this, we organize a tournament in which students compete for a common goal, education in the Gambia.
​
Depending on the dimensions of the event, in some occasions the proceeds will allow the creation of a project in the Gambia on its own to which we would give total diffusion towards students and their families, allowing the monitoring and long-term commitment among students at the school and the youngsters in the Gambia.

SPACES FOR DISSEMINATION AND AWARENESS-RAISING SPEECHES
Our team is formed by young people therefore having the opportunity to tell the students at the school what we are doing and get them to join the cause is a unique opportunity.

We started in our first year of baccalaureate being 16 years old creating what today is the charity of sport. Being able to connect with students, look them in the eye and tell them "you too can change the world" is one of our passions.
​
We are looking for spaces in conferences, congresses and even ordinary lectures and lessons to be able to tell what we do and how we do it.
​
SCHOOL MATERIAL DONATION
Our school in the Gambia needs simple school material such as pens, notebooks, paper sheets, pencils, erasers, etc. To more specific things such as projectors, sports equipment or learning resources.
​
We are looking for schools that would help us cover these needs with either office supplies or surplus material at the end of the academic year.
​
We can even organize the collection of school material!
